The Presbyterian Church (USA) is dedicated to mission as a way of spreading God's love. The Presbyterian Mission Agency is one of the church's six General Assembly agencies and is specifically charged with leading and coordinating its total mission program. That includes Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, the church's emergency and refugee program.Between the storms in the Northeast and Oklahoma and the recent fires in our own state of Arizona, this has been a bad year for natural disasters.
